VSA Future Learning Center Hosts Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting in Livingston VSA Future Learning Center Hosts Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting in Livingston VSA Future Learning Center hosted its Grand Opening at its new location in Livingston, NJ, on Sunday, August 11. VSA Director Julia Guo and VSA teachers welcomed new and long-time VSA families to the center, located at 600 South Livingston Ave, Ste 105. Livingston Mayor Alfred Anthony hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony, joined by Livingston Councilman Ketan Bhuptani and Councilman Michael Vieira. Livingston Chinese Association president Tianhua Han, board member Fang Gong, and former board chair George Shen also joined to welcome VSA to the local community. Mayor Anthony greeted the crowd, “We just want to welcome you to this new space. We know how terrific you are, and you’ve got all the awards out here for all the good you’ve done. We’re so happy to have you in town, and we wish you the best of luck in everything. Onward and upward!” The grand opening was attended by many Livingston families, including families and students who have taken VSA classes for nearly ten years. The center reception area is decorated with Scholastic Writing Awards that 56 VSA students have won from 2021 through 2024, including Livingston middle and high school students. In addition to the three classrooms for Reading & Writing, Public Speaking, English, and Math, VSA also features a student library, art wall, and games area. Founded in 2015, VSA Future has educated over 2,500 students and has designed a robust set of rigorous academic classes led by committed teachers. VSA offers afterschool and weekend enrichment classes in English, Math, Reading & Writing, and Public Speaking for students in Kindergarten through 11th grade.
