VSA Summer Camp VSA Summer Camp By Rosie (Grade 3)August 2022 Do you want a fun, challenging, good camp during the summer? Well, you’ve asked the right person! VSA summer camp has all the things you need to prepare for school or more-English, public speaking, gym, math, art, science, etc. But before you start thinking about whether you will or won’t register your kid in this camp, I’ll tell you a bit more about it! English The English class is amazing! I learned a lot of different words. Plus, before I started VSA summer camp, I didn’t know that many styles of writing, but now, I know HUNDREDS of different styles. It is very useful to me because 99 percent of the words I learn are in some books. Public Speaking Public Speaking is very fun! It encourages kids to use body language, share their opinion, and write attentively (using humor and more). You really need to practice mastering speaking clearly, which prepares you to get comfortable with something very quickly. Gym Exercise is a very important part of this camp! Every time, the coach will pull up a different exercise routine. Plus, they’ll give you some breaks if you need them! Most importantly, it’s always tons of fun! Math Math is awesome! If you want a bit of a challenge, then this is definitely the class for you. Each class they teach you something new. By the end of the camp, you’ll practically be almost as smart as Ada Lovelace, or Albert Einstein! Also, they use a program that helps you build different math skills. While it’s challenging, it’s also very fun! Chess/Art! At chess class, they teach you just about anything, starting from the different chess pieces, all the way to complicated chess techniques. They’ll give you some demonstrations, too. It doesn’t matter if you already know some chess moves or don’t know any. They’ll help you in any possible way that they can! At the same time, there’s art class. Every time the teacher will teach you new, exciting styles. Even if you make a mistake, they’ll show you a way to fix it and turn it into something new. The mistake might even look better with your drawing than your original plan! Who knows? You might even turn out to be the next Leonardo Davinci! You can pick either class. Both are great! Fun with Science Science is fun, interesting and cool! You learn many different things there. Plus, you might even do some science games, or watch a video about the subject. Trust me, I know for a fact that they are pretty cool! You probably think that I’m lying about the games, but I’m NOT. Even if there were no games (FALSE), it’s still really fun! Global Speech I know what you’re thinking, but this has NOTHING to do about global warnings. Actually, it’s WAY more exciting than that! The host will invite someone to speak about their career, and the speakers are ALWAYS wonderful! For example, once, they brought in someone to help home security, and she prepared a game to show us top rules to keep safe from cybercriminals! SO COOL! Ooh, and that time they brought in a chef, or that other day they brought in a photographer, or when they brought in a CANDY maker! Did I mention the time when they brought in famous dancer, Megan Wright? The point is, they really help kids get inspired to follow their dreams! Now, you better get ready, because when your child goes to VSA camp, she or he is going to be a happy, relaxed genius afterward! So you better watch out!
